DIGITAL PRODUCT DESIGNER - CREATIVE TECHNOLOGY
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Digital Product Designer to join our Experience Design pillar, nested within our Creative Technology group. As a Digital Product Designer, you will be a key player in shaping the user experience and visual design of a variety of digital products and campaigns for our clients. You will be responsible for supporting the design process from concept to execution, ensuring that our digital experiences are not only visually appealing and on-brand but also user-centered, effective, and aligned with client objectives. With support from the VP, Director of Experience Design, you'll leverage your knowledge of UX principles, interaction design, and digital design trends to create engaging and seamless experiences across various platforms.
Mission for this role:
The Digital Product Designer's mission is to champion user-centered design and create exceptional digital experiences that drive measurable results for our clients. In partnership with other XD team members, you will be responsible for translating complex business goals into intuitive and engaging digital products that delight users and achieve strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our clients' campaigns and the growth of our agency.
Key responsibilities:
  • Full Design Process: With oversight from senior XD staff, support the end-to-end design process for digital products, including websites, mobile apps, interactive office spaces, and other digital experiences, from initial concept to final
  • UX Principles: Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, and accessibility standards.
  • UI Design and Visual Design: Design visually stunning and user-friendly interfaces for digital products, ensuring brand consistency and adherence to design best practices.
  • Prototyping: Create interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and test usability, when needed.
  • Interaction Design: Design engaging and intuitive interactions, animations, and micro-interactions that enhance the user experience.
  • Maintain Design Systems and Style Guides: Own the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides to ensure consistency and scalability across projects.
  • Strategic Thinking: Collaborate with strategists, account managers, and other stakeholders to understand client objectives and translate them into effective digital product solutions.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with developers, copywriters, digital producers, and other creatives to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and efficiently. Communicate design ideas effectively to stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Design Trends: Continuously research and stay informed about the latest UX and UI design trends, techniques, and technologies.
  • Flexible Creative Partnership: Ability, at times, to bring a back of the napkin sketch to life, while at others, intaking detailed functional requirements and elevating them with your deep design expertise.
