Content Platform Manager – HopeConnect™
Do you want a meaningful career as part of the digital ministry of 4KIDS, HopeConnect™ dedicated to equipping and encouraging parents raising trauma-exposed children with expert advise and the hope of God's Word?
You'll lead both the editorial content and the digital platform strategy (UI/UX) for our ministry - directing a team of contractors (psychologist, writers, editors, designers, a webmaster, and a project manager, analytics and more) to deliver content and a website experience that reaches parents in moments of struggle, hope, and growth.
Working closely with the Vice President of Digital Ministry and creator of HopeConnect™, you'll manage the vision for what we publish and how it performs, translating that vision into clear direction for the contractors who execute it.
What You’ll Do
Content Management
- Manage the production of weekly parenting blogs, monthly feature articles, quarterly eBooks, video series, and devotional plans in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Create project briefs and coordinate the editorial calendar for annual and quarterly publishing.
- Collaborate with writers, therapists, and designers to develop biblically sound, trauma-informed content.
- Partner with social media and email teams to deliver cohesive, mission-aligned messaging.
Platform amp; Product Management
- Lead the strategy for HopeConnect™ website - information architecture, user experience, and mobile optimization, ensuring parents in crisis can find what they need quickly and easily.
- Manage the work of the Webmaster and Web Designer contractors, from strategic briefs through execution, to ensure the platform reflects HopeConnect™ content and mission goals.
- Ensure all content and platform experiences meet SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices.
- Use analytics - engagement, page performance, and user flow to inform both content strategy and platform/product decisions.
Contractor Oversight
- Oversee and coordinate the work of HopeConnect™ 's content management and project management contractors against a unified content-and-platform roadmap.
- Manage a dynamic team of contributors - psychologist, writers, editors, licensed therapists, designers, and technical contractors-setting priorities and resolving competing demands across content and platform work.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in content management, digital publishing, or nonprofit communication.
- Demonstrates a personal, active Christian faith and alignment wit the mission, vision, and Statement of Faith of 4KIDS.
- Comfortable creating, editing, and managing, gospel-centered Scripture-based content that reflects biblical truth and hope.
- Experience directing or managing website UI and UX, design, or development work through vendors, contractors, or a team-even if not personally hands-on in code or design tools
- Comfortable setting platform and product strategy and translating it into clear briefs for technical and creative contractors.
- Excellent project management, writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed parenting principles and faith-based ministry work.
- Strong understanding of SEO/AEO and experience with CMS and workflow tools (e.g., WordPress and Monday).
- Collaborative leadership style and ability to manage multiple projects and contributors.
- Experience managing contractors or vendors on technical or creative work preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Brazilian Portuguese) a plus.
