Job description
Therapist
Are you looking for a meaningful career providing HOPE and HEALING through therapy for children and families in crisis. 4KIDS is seeking a full-time Therapist who is passionate about integrating their clinical skills with their Christian faith to support children in crisis.
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Collaborate with social workers and other mental health professionals
- Provide crisis intervention services as needed
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Trains and supports parents in the EPIC/TBRI approach
- Assesses the needs of and develops a behavioral plan for 4KIDS clients and their parents/guardians
- Counsels and consults with parents on status of child's progress
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
- Must be licensed in the state of Florida
- Experience working with individuals and families in foster care
- Experience working with children and families affected by trauma
- Knowledge of evidence-based therapy practices
- Availability to work evenings as needed to provide therapy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
