Digital Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

WISN-TV, Hearst Television's NBC affiliate in Milwaukee is seeking a Digital Account Manager. The ideal candidate will assist in optimizing and maintaining clients on our digital platforms. WISN is looking for a self-starter, who thrives in a goal-oriented team environment, and has a desire to WIN! The Digital Account Manager will report to the Digital Sales Manager and works with the sales teams pre and post-sale to ensure fulfillment of clients' business needs. The position is responsible for media plan creation, campaign optimization, reporting, campaign retention and renewal. 

Job Responsibilities

  • The Digital Account Manager (DAM) is responsible for optimization and account management of all digital campaign plans associated with pre-sale and post-sale, supervised by the Digital Sales Manager (DSM). 

  • The primary role of the DAM will be to work with the DSM, Digital Client Service Specialist (DCS) and Account Executives to provide clients targeted solution recommendations, ongoing campaign optimization, and insightful post sale reporting. 

  • This position works closely with the DSM and DCS to collaborate and oversee digital advertising campaigns across our full suite of Hearst digital solutions. 

  • Responsibilities include media plan creation, campaign optimization, reporting, campaign retention and renewal, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of advertiser business issues. 

  • The DAM will provide critical day-to-day support and service to our clients while creating additional value both internally and externally. 

  • Attend client meetings and presentations when necessary to review post campaign performance, optimization recommendations and renewals. 

  • When needed, the DAM will be in the field with Account Executives but will mainly work out of the WISN office during the week. 

Experience Requirements
  • Previous experience in sales support, media operations, marketing, advertising, or a related field preferred.

  • The ideal candidate will have worked with digital ad solutions, campaign optimization and analytics either professionally or in collegiate course curriculum 

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required

  • Military training and experience will be considered in lieu of media sales experience

  • Broadcast television, digital advertising, or media industry experience is a plus.

  • Ability to use interpersonal communication skills to develop rapport with internal and external clients, anticipate needs, and proactively seek solutions

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues, collect data, and develop solutions.

  • High attention to detail and level of organization.

  • Desire to provide exceptional customer service and exceed client expectations.

  • Strong computer and software proficiency required.

  • Advanced skills utilizing Google Analytics and Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present campaign performance data.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Self-motivated and dependable in a fast-paced environment.
