The Digital Optimization Specialist owns the strategy, execution, and optimization of the company’s digital presence. This role blends web design, UX leadership, SEO, generative engine optimization, answer engine optimization, and marketing automation with hands-on management of multiple CMS platforms, including WordPress and DNN. The ideal candidate is a hybrid marketer–technologist who can build, optimize, and scale digital experiences that drive measurable growth across both traditional search engines and emerging AI-driven discovery

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Direct the design, development, and maintenance of all company websites, ensuring a high-performance, secure, and brand-consistent digital presence. Own the end‑to‑end website UX, including navigation, mobile responsiveness, content structure, and interaction.
  • Create, publish, and continuously refresh website content that drives engagement and conversions.
  • Develop and execute SEO initiatives, including technical audits, keyword mapping, on‑page optimization, schema markup, and strategic backlink acquisition.
  • Create and carry out Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) strategies to strengthen brand visibility across AI‑driven platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
  • Implement Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) practices to capture featured snippets, direct answers, and AI‑generated summaries.
  • Lead and build HubSpot marketing automation, using sophisticated workflows, lead scoring models, and segmented nurture programs.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to manage and refine paid and organic campaigns, ensuring maximum ROI and conversion efficiency.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Content, Product, and Sales teams to align digital campaign messaging with broader business objectives.
  • Analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations using analytics platforms and KPI reporting.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, with 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in digital marketing.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating high‑quality web content and collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Demonstrated success managing websites and driving conversion growth through technical SEO, schema markup, and emerging practices in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO).
  • Proficient with CMS platforms, including WordPress and DNN (DotNetNuke), with the ability to troubleshoot, update, and optimize site performance.
  • HubSpot expertise, with hands‑on experience building complex workflows, optimizing lead scoring models.
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML/CSS, mobile‑responsive design, and analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Search Console, and leading SEO/SEM/AI tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI‑driven tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity) for content optimization, insights generation, and performance analysis.


Working Conditions*

Mostly stationary work with occasional movement throughout facilities to access files, chambers, office machinery, etc. Frequently lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. Use of hands to hold, lift and handle materials. Occasional climbing, bending and squatting.
