Summary

In this role, you will join the Data & Digital Sales, Service, and Insight Delivery team as a Senior Operations Analyst, Sales, focusing on delivering accurate data, reporting, and actionable insights to support sales performance, forecasting, and operational effectiveness. You will extract, validate, and analyze sales data, develop dashboards and reports, monitor key performance metrics, and identify opportunities to improve processes and data quality. You will partner closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive informed decision-making and support business growth.

Responsibilities

Extract, clean, validate, and maintain sales data from CRM systems, including Microsoft Dynamics, to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Build, maintain, and enhance reports and dashboards to monitor pipeline health, revenue performance, quota attainment, sales productivity, and forecast accuracy.

Analyze key sales performance metrics, including conversion rates, deal size, sales cycle length, and pipeline coverage, providing actionable insights to support sales leadership decision-making.

Support sales forecasting activities by updating reporting, models, and analyses using current sales activity, pipeline trends, and market insights.

Identify data quality issues, reporting inconsistencies, and workflow inefficiencies; recommend and support process improvements to streamline reporting, automation, and operational processes.

Collaborate with sales, operations, and leadership teams to understand reporting requirements and business objectives.

Develop and maintain documentation for reporting processes, metric definitions, and data governance standards.

Provide ad hoc analysis and operational support for sales enablement, planning, and performance management initiatives.

Qualifications

Relevant degree in Business Analytics, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field preferred.

5 or more years of experience in sales operations, business analytics, reporting, or a related analytical role required.

Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, and a strong understanding of sales data structures and processes required.

Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including pivot tables, formulas, data analysis, and basic modeling required.

Experience building reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools required.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality required.

Strong understanding of core sales metrics, including conversion rates, pipeline management, quota attainment, forecast accuracy, and sales cycle performance preferred.

Proven ability to analyze complex datasets and translate findings into clear, actionable business insights preferred.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions preferred.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to present data and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences preferred.

Experience supporting sales organizations and working cross-functionally with sales leadership, operations, and business stakeholders is preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $68,500.00 to $116,300.00.
