The Opportunity:
Townsquare Media is excited to offer an educational internship program designed to give students hands-on exposure to the radio broadcasting and digital media industry.
As an intern, you'll gain real-world experience by observing and participating in the day-to-day operations of our radio stations and digital platforms, providing a behind-the-scenes look at how a modern media company operates across broadcast, digital marketing, promotions, and sales. You'll gain insight into how broadcast and digital media work together to support local businesses, engage audiences, and create impactful marketing campaigns while learning from experienced professionals across multiple departments and seeing firsthand how our teams collaborate to deliver results for clients and communities.
Our goal is to help students build practical skills, develop industry knowledge, and make meaningful professional connections that will serve as a strong foundation for a future career in media, marketing, or communications.

What You'll Bring to the Program:

Program Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a resident of New York State and/or attending school in New York State
  • Must be a first-time participant in the Townsquare Media internship program

Program Details:
  • Internships are available year-round
  • Compensation is $16/ hour
  • Typically 10-20 hours per week
  • Specific schedules will be agreed upon in advance to accommodate academic commitments
  • Internship experience may include exposure to broadcast operations, digital marketing, promotions, and sales
