Primary Purpose: 

The primary purpose of the Digital Marketing Manager, Plastics & Elastomers (P&E) is to develop, execute, and report on customer-facing strategic marketing plans and activities in collaboration with suppliers and product management. This role is responsible for the successful implementation of traditional and digital marketing campaigns for ChemPoint to maximize new business.

Marketing or sales experience within the P&E market is strongly preferred, and the demonstration of aptitude to ideate and execute effective digital marketing campaigns to a Plastics and Elastomers formulating customer base is required. 


What You'll Do:

Partner with Product Managers, Industry Managers, and Suppliers to develop and report on targeted marketing plans by industry team
Define goals and strategic initiatives
Conduct market analysis
Define customer segments and determine target markets
Build presentation decks and present market insights, analysis, and consultation on the execution of strategic initiatives to supplier partners
Develop value propositions and messaging frameworks
Serve as the marketing lead for the P&E industry, developing market insights, identifying formulation trends, and transforming supplier strategies into effective customer-facing campaigns.
Ideate and execute plans to create demand and/or brand awareness
Analyze the most effective marketing channels for strategic execution of product lines and industries
Launch channel activities (SEO, AEO, PPC advertising, email, social media, phone campaigns, etc.) to drive digital engagement, traffic, conversions, and/or market insights
Develop new content to drive customer traffic and conversions for existing and new product lines, industries, and trends
Develop processes and systems to optimize the marketing process and conversion rates
Measure and report on digital and non-digital conversion rates, sales cycle time, and lead generation
Perform other related duties as required or requested
 

What You'll Need:

 

Bachelor's degree from a fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience required
5+ years of experience in strategic marketing, management, and direct sales, preferably as a Market Analyst, Technical Salesperson, Product Manager, or equivalent
(Preferred) 3+ years of experience in a technical or business capacity for the plastics and elastomer formulation industries

Strong knowledge and experience using PC and Windows operating systems
Strong knowledge and experience working with MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel skills
Expertise in developing and executing marketing strategies, primarily online across all digital marketing channels
Excellent ability to solve complex and challenging situations
Strong written and verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to adapt behavior and communication style to effectively interact with others when addressing challenges and objectives
Knowledge of marketing strategies and proper short- and long-term execution

Pay and Benefits:

  • The salary range for this position is $98,000 - $135,000 annually.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
