What You’ll Do:
As a Digital Navigator, you will deliver engaging digital literacy and workforce development instruction to adult learners across Evansville Goodwill Industries, Inc.’s territory. Working under the Director of Digital Skills Development and Instruction, you will teach structured curriculum, provide individualized support, and travel to community locations to expand access to digital skills training. You will help individuals overcome barriers, gain certifications, and build skills needed for success in today’s digital world.
Job Type: Full-time, Hourly Non-Exempt
Hourly Rate: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
Shift:
  • 8-hour shift, scheduled for 40 hours per week
  • Evening and weekend availability as needed
  • Travel required within a 75-mile radius
Essential Functions:
  • Deliver digital literacy and workforce readiness instruction (Northstar, Google/AI tools, Microsoft Office) in both classroom and community-based settings, including required travel
  • Adapt instruction for diverse learners and provide one-on-one coaching to support individual goals and skill development
  • Assess participant progress and maintain accurate data, certifications, attendance, and outcomes using Caseworthy CRM while ensuring grant compliance
  • Support outreach, recruitment, and participant intake efforts, while assisting with scheduling, program development, and Opportunity Center operations
  • Provide internal staff training, maintain confidentiality, attend professional development, and ensure adherence to safety and organizational standards
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Model appropriate behavior aligned with Goodwill’s mission and values
  • Represent Goodwill in a professional and positive manner
  • Follow all organizational policies, safety procedures, and CARF standards
What You’ll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in education, workforce development, or related field preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; bilingual preferred
  • Strong facilitation, professionalism, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to engage adult learners with varying abilities and experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and digital learning tools; familiarity with adult learning principles preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage data, maintain confidentiality, and meet reporting requirements
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance required; flexibility for travel and scheduling needs; must pass background check and drug screen
Physical Requirements / Work Environment:
  • Ability to bend, lift, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Primarily indoor work environment with moderate noise levels
  • Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions during travel
