Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher to inspire students and foster a strong foundation in mathematical thinking. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive learning environment that encourages problem-solving, critical thinking, and academic growth for students in grades 6 through 8.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned math instruction appropriate for middle school learners
  • Develop lesson plans that incorporate a variety of instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs
  • Assess student learning through quizzes, tests, projects, and informal evaluations, and provide timely feedback
  • Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and collaboration
  • Integrate technology and real-world applications to enhance math learning
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic progress and expectations
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
