Job Summary:
The AI & Digital Innovation Delivery Lead serves as the development lead for all DT&I product and process development, with primary emphasis on the advancement and implementation of AI solutions within the product stack. This role owns the hands-on design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications-including AI agent architectures, Semantic Kernel orchestrations, and intelligent automation capabilities-while overseeing the SDLC development pipeline and DevOps management across the portfolio. The role works in close coordination with the Automation & Infrastructure Lead and the Data & Analytics Lead to ensure seamless delivery of scalable, secure, AI-powered solutions. The AI & Digital Innovation Delivery Lead partners closely with the Director of Assurance Architecture & Digital Innovation and cross-functional teams to align development practices and product delivery with assurance service delivery objectives, firm policies, and security standards.
Job Duties:
AI Solution Development & Delivery
• Leads the hands-on design and development of AI-powered solutions across the DT&I product portfolio, leveraging Microsoft Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service, and related platform services
• Architects AI agent workflows, prompt engineering strategies, RAG patterns, and multi-agent orchestration to deliver intelligent product experiences
• Develops enterprise-grade applications including microservices, APIs, serverless architectures, and BI solutions (Power BI) across the product portfolio
• Evaluates and integrates emerging AI models, agent frameworks, and LLM capabilities to continuously advance product intelligence and automation
• Establishes model governance practices including model selection criteria, prompt libraries, evaluation pipelines, and responsible AI standards
SDLC & DevOps Management
• Owns the SDLC development pipeline including CI/CD architecture, build automation, release management, and deployment processes across all DT&I products
• Conducts code reviews, establishes coding standards, and drives engineering best practices including automated testing and observability
• Manages technical debt, performance optimization, and reliability engineering across the product portfolio
• Collaborates with product management and business stakeholders to translate requirements into maintainable technical implementations
• Provides technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members, fostering growth and elevating overall team capability
Risk Management
• Ensures compliance with software development and AI governance best practices, firm policies, and regulatory requirements
• Partners with risk and compliance stakeholders to maintain alignment between technology solutions and firm governance requirements
• Ensures all DT&I products remain compliant with applicable service level agreements (SLAs)
Performs other duties as assigned
• Willingly accepts share of less desirable assignments
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Acts as a direct supervisor to engineering and development team members, as assigned
• Acts as a career advisor and mentor to engineering and development team members as assigned
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Education:
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, preferred
Experience:
• Ten (10) or more years of experience in software development, AI/ML engineering, cloud infrastructure, required
• Five (5) or more years of experience as a lead developer writing production code, including AI/ML solution design and implementation, required
• Three (3) or more years of experience with AI orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or equivalent) and Azure AI services, required
• Three (3) or more years managing CI/CD pipelines and SDLC processes in Azure DevOps environments, required
• Experience establishing AI model governance frameworks including responsible AI policies and model lifecycle management, preferred
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions in professional services, assurance, or accounting industries, preferred
• Experience with multi-agent systems, RAG architectures, and LLM function-calling patterns, preferred

• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure including AI services (Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel) and application services (Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, SQL Server), required
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipeline management, required
• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks (Semantic Kernel, LangChain, AutoGen, Copilot Studio), required
• Extensive knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG patterns, vector databases, and embedding models, preferred
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, DAX), CI/CD pipelines, and source control (Git), preferred
• Experience with containerization (Docker, Azure Container Apps) and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights), preferred

Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
National Range: $150,000 - $170,000
Maryland Range: $150,000 - $170,000
NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $150,000 - $170,000
