Job description

Digital Strategist
The Opportunity:
You'll help drive transformation across the organization by leveraging frameworks, including Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Scrum, and Kanban. In this role, you will work to drive the adoption of the Agile mentality through Lean Portfolio Management, Agile delivery knowledge, and Agile life cycle management tools while coaching and mentoring team members. You will work together with engineering and Agile leadership to provide digital transformation strategy, architecture, and implementation expertise to transform IT service delivery for our clients. You'll apply advanced-level IT advising expertise to drive enterprise-wide transformation and establish efficient and effective IT service delivery systems.
This role will serve as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) for a product team comprised of cross-product and cross-functional engineers. The ideal candidate will enable communication, collaboration, and transparency by implementing standard business rules, facilitating Agile events, build insightful Agile reports, and collaborate with team scrum masters. You'll lead discussions with team leads and management on relevant topics while keeping the collective team focused and tracking on commitments, pace, and quality.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience with coaching, mentoring, or advising technology leaders through a sophisticated Agile transformation
  • 5+ years of experience with designing and executing enterprise organizational transformation frameworks
  • 3+ years of experience with developing metrics and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and presenting this data to stakeholders such as leaders
  • Experience supporting Agile framework implementation the federal government, Navy, or DoD
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence
  • Ability to lead discussions with executives, team leads, and leaders within the organization on transformation topics
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Systems Engineering, or 4+ years of experience with facilitating transformations as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience with IT and analytics process design, organizational models, service delivery models, and workflow automation
  • 5+ years of experience with driving digital transformation initiatives
  • Experience supporting DoD Acquisition Category (ACAT) or Business Category (BCAT) programs
  • Experience working with senior executive leaders in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Git Lab
  • Experience with Tableau or Power BI
  • Knowledge of Application Life Cycle and Agile Management tools
  • Agile Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,900.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
