Job description

The Customer Support Representative seeks to deliver excellent customer experience while performing a wide range of duties including opening, modifying and closing savings accounts, demand deposit accounts, money markets and certificates of deposit. CSR's extend offers of credit to qualified borrowers and process loans including personal lines of credit, revolving credit and installment loans. CSR's also assist customers with daily needs such as account research and reconciliation, check orders, safety deposit box services, wire transfers, digital banking and debit card services while seeking opportunities to deepen customer relationships and identifying other ways the Bank can serve their financial needs. CSR's may refer customers to specialists for Financial Counseling, Business Services, Mortgage and Real Estate Loans, Health Savings accounts, Individual Retirement Accounts, Insurance and Trust Services.
As needed, the CSR will also serve as a vault custodian and provide teller services behind the cash line.
Requirements
Desired Education Work History and Lifestyle:

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with preference for higher degree(s)
  • Steady job history with evidence of advancement
  • Prior customer service or sales experience
  • Prior bank experience preferred, but not required
  • Good credit and sound management of personal finance
  • Professional dress and demeanor
  • Community engagement and service
