Position: Digital Organizer

Location: Remote (Florida)

Reports to: Digital Manager

Schedule: Full Time, Monday through Friday, 9am- 5pm

Start Date: May 2026

Compensation: $42,000 to $50,000 annually plus health, dental, vision and life for employee and dependents.

The Florida Democratic Party (FDP) is seeking a Digital Organizer to join our Communications Team. This role reports to the Digital Manager and works to create digital content, grow our audience, and effectively disseminate FDPโ€™s messaging strategy across digital platforms.

The Digital Organizer will work with a growing digital team to synthesize internal talking points and messaging guidance into engaging digital content, including both static graphics and videos. The Digital Organizer will support the management of FDPโ€™s social media presence, take part in content strategy and execution, support rapid response, and identify partners for collaboration in amplifying Democratic messaging statewide.

Responsibilities
  • Develop digital and social media content aligned with FDPโ€™s communications and electoral goals.
  • Identify potential partners for collaboration and manage outreach to influential accounts.
  • Manage FDPโ€™s social media platforms, including content planning, publishing, and realtime rapid response.
  • Create highquality digital content, including graphics, shortform video, and written copy.
  • Maintain and manage proactive social media content while responding quickly to breaking news.
  • Draft scripts and digital toolkits for the Party Chair, candidates, surrogates, and elected officials across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, and YouTube.
  • Monitor media, social platforms, and digital trends; identify opportunities to amplify key moments and counter misinformation.
  • Analyze digital performance using platform analytics and reporting tools, and adjust strategy based on data and insights.
  • Coordinate digital campaigns, virtual events, and influencer partnerships to expand reach and engagement.
  • Support additional special projects as assigned.
  • Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12 years of experience managing digital or social media strategy, preferably in political campaigns, advocacy organizations, or missiondriven nonprofits.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple social platforms and comfort supporting rapid response in a highpressure environment.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with an understanding of tone, message discipline, and audience targeting.
  • Experience with design and video tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics, reporting, and performance optimization.
  • Highly organized, detailoriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Deep understanding of Democratic politics and a passion for progressive causes.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the news cycle.

    This is a full-time position. Salary is commensurate with experience, with a salary band of $42,000 - $50,000, and includes a competitive benefits package.
