A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIETARY MANAGER

As a Dietary Manager, you play a vital role in our clinic. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You assume overall responsibility for all operations of the Dietary Department. You work with residents and other team members to plan menus and food service programs. You also monitor the stock level of food, supplies, and equipment and order as needed.

With a close eye for detail, you monitor for residents' condition changes, accidents and incidents. You take great care to report any of these. You live up to the trust of those in your care by following dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operations. You take pride in the difference you make in the lives of our residents and that makes you perfect for this dietary manager position!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR DIETARY MANAGER
  • Current CDM certification preferred.

  • Willing to assist with certification for the right candidate.

  • Must know dietary procedures, related laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to nursing home operation.

  • One year of experience in long term care.

  • One year of supervisory experience.

  • A desire to work with seniors
