Die Maintenance Tech

Description

    Basic Operating Procedures

    • Repair progressive and transfer tooling
    • Tig Weld, Weld and repair tool steels
    • Hand grinding
    • Ability to operate manual tool room mill, surface grinder, lathe etc.
    • Support mass production
    • Qualifications:
    • Ability to work any shift
    • Ability to work overtime and weekends
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Practice and follow safe working methods
    • Ability to read mechanical drawings
    • Education and Experience:
    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Stable work history with good attendance
    • 2-year degree in Tool and Die Technology along with 2 years of on-the-job experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of documented die maintenance experience in a metal stamping facility without degree.
    • Auto CAD, Solid Works, and Microsoft Office a plus but not required.
    • All candidates are required to pass a written test, upon successful completion, a hands-on test will be given.
