Job description

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Program Director will be responsible for enhancing the internal organization processes and infrastructure that will allow the company to continue to grow and fulfill its mission.

Responsibilities

1. Support and advise the COO/CEO in decision making.

2. Oversee the job duties of the Program Coordinator, Program Managers and Residential Support Managers.

3. Encourage staff development and education and assist program staff in relating their specialized work to the total program of the company.

4. Maintain a climate that attracts, keeps and motivates a diverse staff of top-quality people.

5. Responsible for the recruitment, employment, and release of all personnel.

6. Represent the programs and point of view of the organization to agencies, organizations, and the general public in a strong, positive image.

7. Function as the Reportable Event Manager.

8. Attend any Circle of Support, PCSP, Transition, etc. meetings that apply to any person served.

9. Perform quality assurance duties for agency in preparation of all annual surveys.

10. Oversee overall day to day functions of the company.

11. Must be available to assist agency with persons supported needs in non-emergency and emergency situations.

12. Must be available for on-call duties including night and/or weekend duties if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

· Minimum 4-year college degree or equivalent in experience;

· Knowledge of DDA and TN Licensure operations;

· Strong operational experience;

· Skills should include organizational development, personnel management, budget and resource development, and strategic planning; demonstrated success developing and monitoring systems to manage both operational and programmatic work that involve high levels of collaboration;

· Excellent people skills, with an ability to partner with a dynamic leadership team;

· Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and commitment to the mission of the company.

· Flexible and able to multi-task; can work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment, while also driving toward clarity and solutions; demonstrated resourcefulness in setting priorities and guiding investment and people and systems.
