We are seeking a talented, highly motivated individual to join our Business Insights team at our New York headquarters. The ideal candidate will have a love of data and proficiency in researching, customizing, exacting, evaluating, identifying trends, managing, and translating data into actionable business insights.
Within this role you will:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, sales, finance, customer success, and senior leadership to capture key data and identify data-driven insights.
  • Analyze, and interpret large and complex data sets related to business performance, account growth, and product usage, etc.
  • Create and develop detailed financial models and analysis to support various strategic initiatives including market analysis, customer segmentation, product usage, etc.
  • Create and deliver high-impact reports and interactive dashboards that intuitively communicate or visualize key insights to senior leadership.
  • Create and deliver executive sales dashboards for monthly review by senior leadership.
  • Assess and process map methodologies to identify and implement data governance, innovative workflows, or efficiencies to enhance our data mining efforts.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, data science, or economics.
  • 3-5 years' experience in analyzing markets, product, generating financial statements, data analysis, or dashboard creation.
  • Possess strong critical thinking and data analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to present complex data and insight to senior leadership.
  • Proficiency in predictive modeling, presentation and report generation.
  • Strong demonstratable experience in Excel, PowerPoint, SageX3, or Salesforce.
  • Experience with programming languages commonly used in data analysis (i.e. SQL, Python)
  • Experience creating complex queries for data extraction and reporting.
  • Experience with Data modeling applications such as Tableau or PowerBI.

Salary:
This position has a base compensation package offered at $95,000 commensurate with education and background experience.
