The Undersea Technology Portfolio, within SPA's Sea, Land, & Air Division, conducts rigorous and objective analyses to enable the Navy and other DoD organizations to make decisions, plans, and strategies to deliver emerging technologies and warfighting capabilities. We support clients across the undersea, naval special warfare, and expeditionary warfare enterprises, including those within resourcing and requirements, acquisition, and science and technology.
SPA is seeking an Acquisition Analyst to support NAVSEA's Naval Special Warfare Program Office.#FC #Dice
Responsibilities
The Acquisition Analyst will support NAVSEA's PMS 340 office by providing analytical, programmatic, and acquisition lifecycle expertise across planning, budgeting, contracting, and execution activities. This role supports development of acquisition documentation, tracks program performance, coordinates with technical and financial stakeholders, and ensures alignment with DoD 5000-series requirements to enable effective delivery of PMS 340 capabilities to the Fleet.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, management, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of relevant acquisition or program management experience consistent with the Analyst, Management III labor category
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or Navy acquisition programs, including familiarity with DoD 5000 processes
  • Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher)

Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting NAVSEA, Special Warfare, or small craft programs
  • Proficiency developing or reviewing acquisition artifacts (e.g., LCSPs, APBs, SOWs, IGCEs)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership
