The Physical Therapist will work onsite in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, designed to facilitate recovery and foster a positive healing atmosphere. In your role as a Physical Therapist, you will:

• Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, medical history, and specific symptoms affecting their mobility.
• Utilize your clinical expertise to diagnose movement dysfunctions and create customized treatment plans that align with each patient's goals.
• Guide patients through personalized therapeutic exercise programs, ensuring they are executed correctly for maximum benefit.
• Deliver hands-on treatment techniques, including therapeutic massage and modalities that promote healing.
• Educate patients and their families on the proper use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other rehabilitation equipment.
• Skillfully track patient progress, maintaining accurate records that document improvements and ongoing challenges.
• Advocate for in-home treatment options and exercises to support the patient’s recovery journey outside the clinic.

Your work will directly impact a diverse patient population, including children, adults, and seniors confronting varying physical challenges. The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• A current and valid Physical Therapy license in Virginia.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interaction and documentation.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems for maintaining patient data.
• A flexible and adaptive approach to treatment, catering to the individual needs of patients.

While we require a minimum of two years of experience in the field, applicants with experience in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and rehabilitation centers, will be favored. Familiarity with specific methodologies such as manual therapy techniques, functional movement assessments, and sports rehabilitation could be advantageous.
