Job description

Job Summary - Diamond Tree Recovery Technician

Responsible for ensuring patients are following the program schedule. Responsible for ensuring patients adhere to program rules, and policies and procedures. Assists case management program with helping patients transition from program to society. Assists in the program curriculum/schedule implementation of therapeutic activities under the direction of the clinical therapist, and engages in patient activities and assists patients through their program. Assists in handling essential patient/staff crises relating to the program and staffing needs. Works directly with the Program Managers to carry out the mission and values of the program.

  • Ensures quality patient experience and support
  • Assists in maintaining facility cleanliness during shift per specific shift guidelines
  • Assists in facility errands as delegated i.e activity transportation and coordination, medication pick-up, etc
  • Assist and support with intake process
  • Assist and support with discharge process
  • Inventory patient belongings
  • Ensure that clients are adhering to policies and procedures to maintain safety and security of facility
  • Educate and assist patients with coping strategies
  • Works and coordinates with Clinic Admin Director on patient UA’s
  • Assists with observations and medication management
  • Assist in ensuring clients are adhering to vaping, and phone policies
  • Responsible to document shift notes and groups notes via direction of Program Director

Qualifications and Skills

  • CPR/First Aid Certification
  • Food Handlers Permit
  • 18 years or older
  • Must have basic computer user skills
  • Preferred 1 year experience in the industry
  • Medical assisting preferred
