Job description

Sparks Group has partnered with a company who has close to 30 years of Aviation industry experience. This organization provides comprehensive aircraft inventory and logistics support to airlines, MRO providers, OEMs, and distribution partners across the globe. I is headquartered in Miami, Florida, and supported by service hubs in London and Singapore. As part of its continued growth, the organization is expanding its digital marketplace and investing in systems and processes that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer experience. Position Summary
The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing and coordinating outbound shipments to ensure products are packaged, documented, and delivered in accordance with customer specifications and industry standards. This role is critical to maintaining quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Package and ship products following established procedures and quality standards
  • Ensure all items are properly protected to prevent damage during transit
  • Review customer specifications and follow ATA Spec 300 guidelines when applicable
  • Prepare air waybills and all required shipping documentation, verifying accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate and schedule carrier pickups as needed
  • Confirm all required documentation is included with each shipment
  • Upload and maintain shipment-related documents and images within internal systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipping-related issues
  • Support additional projects and operational tasks as assigned

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to meet productivity, quality, and safety standards, including working overtime when needed
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and accountability for work quality
  • Comfortable performing light to moderate physical lifting
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment and material handling tools
  • Team-oriented with strong communication skills

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Familiarity with domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Experience using carrier systems such as FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar
  • Hazmat certification or training is a plus
  • Basic computer proficiency, including inventory systems, shipping platforms (e.g., ShipStation), and Microsoft Office
