Meyer Logistics is a transportation company that serves as the backbone of Meyer Distributing's shipping network. Meyer Logistics has a fleet of 500+ top-of-the-line trucks. The Returns Inspector inspects returned product and determine if it may be returned to inventory or sent back to the vendor.
Preferred Experience for a Returns Inspector:

  • Education/Certification(s): High School graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: One year of previous warehouse experience preferred

Pay Rate for a Returns Inspector:

  • $18.00 per hours

Schedule for a Returns Inspector:

  • Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 3:45 PM
  • Friday 6:00 AM - 2:45 PM
  • Saturday 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM with notice

Requirements for a Returns Inspector:

  • Ability to give special attention to detail required. Must have ability to identify letters and numbers
  • Must have computer and data entry skills
  • Must have ability to problem solve
  • Must have the ability to make timely decisions
  • Must adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events
  • The individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction
  • Must have ability to orally communicate with co-workers, supervisors and other employees

Returns Inspector duties include but are not limited to:

  • Inspect returned product and determine if complete order was returned for quality
  • Re-package and place the quality returned items back into inventory if product is able to be resold
  • Keep accurate records on RGA number and details of product's condition
  • Perform minor repairs to quality items if needed
  • Keep warehouse and work area clean and organized
  • Wear protective toed shoes and work in a safe manner
  • All other duties as assigned
