Pay Rate: $17.00/h
About the Role
Are you detail-oriented with experience using carrier systems like FedEx, UPS, or DHL? We're looking for a Shipper to join a fast-paced aviation inventory operation. In this role, you'll be responsible for properly packaging, processing, and coordinating shipments to ensure timely and damage-free deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare outgoing merchandise according to standard procedures and customer specifications.
  • Ensure parts are packed securely to prevent shipping damage.
  • Follow customer-specific packaging standards (e.g., ATA SPEC 300).
  • Create and manage air waybills and shipping documentation, ensuring all information is accurate.
  • Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate delivery logistics.
  • Include and image all required documentation for each shipment within the internal system.
  • Collaborate with the pre-shipping team to resolve any shipping-related issues.
  • Participate in additional projects and responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency with FedEx, UPS, DHL, and similar shipping platforms.
  • Experience with domestic and international shipping regulations.
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, ShipStation, and Microsoft Office is a plus.
  • HazMat training is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift moderately heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset and strong attention to detail.
Requirement
  • Steel-toe shoe is a requirement: Once an employee is converted to a permanent position at the 90-day mark, DASI will reimburse the cost of steel-toe shoes up to $80.
