Job description

Completes assigned duties/tasks professionally, accurately and as timely as possible. Must have a thorough understanding of The Veranda Cafe
and Vending. Services all customers using exceptional customer service skills. Must have thorough knowledge and understanding of cash
register/cash handling, food handling and sanitation requirements per Food & Nutrition policies and procedures. Responsible for preparing
Starbuck's beverages per Starbucks protocol. Responsible for sanitation and cleanliness; Must be able to multi-task and work at a fast consistent
pace. Records food service and DHEC reports, logs and records as related to the Veranda Cafe and Vending. Upholds all DHEC/DNV regulation in
regard to food safety, facility upkeep, cleaning and sanitation. Upholds proper personal and hand hygiene practices at all times. Relays any
identified problems to Coordinator/Specialist/Management in a timely manner. Must be flexible with schedule times. Completes any other duties as
assigned by Supervisor, Coordinator, or Management.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED or one-year applicable food service experience. Must be able to follow both verbal and written instructions
    regarding logs, sanitation, customer service and infection control policies. Pushing weights up to 200#. Constant standing and walking
    are necessary. Must exemplify good personal hygiene and strong customer service skills.
