Job description

Salary: $50,000 annually

An Events Manager at Patty Baker Humane Society Naples is the person who brings our events to life. You
manage the full portfolio of fundraising events, from signature galas to branded pop-ups and cause marketing
activations. You're helping build the sponsorship relationships that fund them, managing every vendor and
permit that makes them possible, and making sure every detail comes together so that everything goes off
without a hitch. If you're the kind of person who thrives on managing dozens of moving parts at once, who finds
genuine pleasure in watching a well-planned event come together, and who believes that great events can
change how a community supports its most vulnerable animals, this might be the most rewarding role you've
ever had.

This is a full-time (40 hrs) salaried position with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. You'll report directly to
the Chief Development Officer. Your weeks will be spent planning, coordinating, and executing events across
PBHSN's calendar, including signature events like Run for Paws, Pet Lover's Gala, Bow Wow Brunch, and Paws by
the Bay, along with a growing roster of community fundraising activations. Some flexibility for occasional Sundays is expected around event weekends.
Pay and Benefits

  • $50,000 annually
  • Paid time off and Holiday pay
  • Medical, dental, vision insurance
  • Paid parental leave
  • Retirement plan available, matching funds after 1 year
  • Significant discounts on veterinary service

ABOUT YOU

  • First and foremost, you're a hard worker. You're diligent. You see things through. You care about doing
the job, and ensuring that the job is done right. You are driven by success.
  • Teamwork makes the dream work. Youre a collaborator. You genuinely enjoy connecting with others.
  • You remember names, you follow up, you make people feel valued. Building relationships comes
naturally to you, and you understand that trust is built through follow-through and consistency, not just
    charm.
  • You're incredibly organized. You're the person who has a system for everything. You keep lists, you
track deadlines, you love spreadsheets, Post-it notes are different colors for a reason, and you love it.
You don't just manage chaos, you prevent it.
  • You don't rattle easily. When things get hectic or plans change at the last minute, you get steady. You're
a problem-solver by instinct, not a worrier. People around you feel calmer because you project
confidence, even when you're figuring it out in real time.
  • You love animals. This probably goes without saying, but we're an animal shelter. You should like dogs
and cats. We all do! But it's more than that, this work is about the feeling of fulfillment that comes from
helping drive our mission to save lives forward. You are called to mission-based work, because the
world around you can be better, and you want to be part of the solution.
