Job Title- R&D Engineer II-Software

Project Location – Hybrid in Bridgeton, MO

Duration- Fulltime

Visa- USC

Summary: Our client is looking for an R&D II-Software Engineer, that will analyze business projects and facilitate mining efforts.

Skills Needed:

  • Facilitate data mining efforts for business and R&D needs.
  • Perform data analysis required to troubleshoot data related issues.
  • Develop algorithms to transform data into useful, actionable information.
  • Work closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop a strategy for long term data platform architecture.
  • Build, test, and maintain database pipeline architectures.
  • Assist in software engineering efforts by establishing test data creation workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
  • Simplify and enhance the accessibility, clarity, and usability of large or complex datasets through the development of advanced BI dashboards and applications.
  • Partner with DevOps in maintaining operational excellence in our data-driven services.
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of C#.
  • 4+ years of SQL experience (No-SQL experience is a plus.)
  • 4+ years of experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining data processing systems.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases / data stores (object storage, document databases, key-value stores).
  • Experience with data visualization software (PowerBI, Tableau, etc).
  • Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always up, always available model.
  • Experience with or knowledge of Agile Software Development methodologies.
