JetCool Technologies is transforming data center cooling with its advanced liquid cooling solutions, including our patented microconvective cooling technology. As a Dell Value-Added Reseller (VAR), JetCool delivers high-performance, energy-efficient cooling systems that support full warranty and service coverage. Our mission is to enable the next generation of compute with smarter, more sustainable thermal management.

The Business Development Director - Custom Silicon, based in Littleton, MA, Austin, TX, or San Jose, CA, is a seasoned professional responsible for building longterm, trustedadvisor relationships with key chipmakers and emerging custom silicon innovators. This role leads the identification, development, and closing of strategic opportunities for JetCool's liquid cooling solutions, particularly with leading semiconductor companies, advanced packaging specialists, and organizations developing highperformance and nextgeneration compute architectures. You will collaborate closely with internal engineering, product, and operations teams-as well as external silicon stakeholders-to scope, quote, and develop JetCool solutions while managing the full sales cycle and ensuring exceptional customer experience.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

  • Develop and maintain a strategic sales plan for assigned accounts, identifying new opportunities and expanding existing relationships.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leading semiconductor companies, engaging key business executives, technical stakeholders, and decisionmakers.

  • Partner with JetCool's liquid cooling technical experts to scope and quote custom liquid cooling solutions.

  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer requirements.

  • Manage the full order lifecycle, resolving complex issues to ensure successful delivery and customer satisfaction.

  • Lead crossfunctional initiatives and contribute to company growth strategies.

  • Engage with compute and hardware architects to promote JetCool's value proposition and explore integration opportunities.

  • Analyze customer documentation and sales data to propose competitive, innovative solutions.

  • Travel across the territory (up to 50%) to build relationships, visit customer sites, and present solutions.

  • Coach and mentor other sales team members, contributing to continuous improvement and team success.

The Experience We're Looking to Add to Our Team

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or strategic account management.

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

  • Proven success in largeaccount sales and relationship management, ideally with semiconductor, custom silicon, or advanced compute companies.

  • Customerfirst mindset with strong crossfunctional collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and expand a sales pipeline at least 3 assigned quota using CRM tools.

  • Excellent organizational, problemsolving, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint for presentations.

  • Comfortable working in highperformance compute and lab environments.
