Job description

Role Description:
The Campus Worship Director leads the musical worship expression of gatherings, developing worship leaders and teams to create Christ-centered, engaging environments. This role equips and disciples volunteers, partners with the Production Director and campus staff, and ensures worship is both excellent and spiritually formative.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Lead and recruit the development, training, and sending of worship volunteers and teams
  • Lead the Worship Lead Team at the campus
  • Oversee the planning and execution of worship gatherings in partnership with the Campus Production Director and Campus Pastor
  • Be proficient in one area of worship (vocals, band leadership, or musicianship) while effectively communicating desired outcomes across all worship elements
  • Oversee the selection and planning of musical content for gatherings in alignment with direction from the Support Team and NewSpring's worship vision and values
  • Lead the spiritual and pastoral development of worship volunteers, equipping them for both excellence and discipleship
  • Work alongside campus teams to provide recordings and reviews of worship moments for growth, training, and future planning
  • Recruit and lead the Worship Leader rotation and volunteer worship teams
  • Schedule all worship positions, including vocalists, band members, and worship leaders for each gathering
  • Be a primary champion of prayer at the campus.
  • Adhere to and encompass the qualities and characteristics required of NewSpring Church staff members, as defined by the Policies and Procedures Handbook.

Additional Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with campus team to see campus specific goals are met
  • Travel to other NewSpring campuses, as needed, to attend meetings, observe gatherings or assist with leading worship or serving
  • Additional projects and/or assignments, as needed

  • This role is full time 40 hours per week.
  • This role is eligible to receive a housing allowance.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience with Ableton Live and MainStage is preferred.
  • This role adheres to a standard schedule, knowing it may fluctuate at times & based on certain needs. Standard schedule is:
    • Sunday: 6:30am - 1:00pm
    • Monday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
    • Tuesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
    • Wednesday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
    • Thursday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
