Work Location: This is a remote position; however, the candidate must be able to travel to the Florida Mango Health Center in West Palm Beach at least once every two weeks to handle printing, mailing, and other on-site tasks as needed.


Snapshot of key accountabilities of the Development Coordinator:

  • Support frontline fundraising efforts by maintaining donor and prospect records in Salesforce and EveryAction.

  • Assist with donor stewardship, including acknowledgements, thank-you calls, mailings, and communications.

  • Provide backup support for donation processing and reporting.

  • Coordinate Development events, planning meetings, and stewardship activities.

  • Manage departmental emails, phone lines, schedules, reimbursements, and internal files.

  • Support the Chief Development Officer with donor stewardship materials and portfolio management.

  • Facilitate donor and staff use of Zoom for virtual events.

  • Provide general administrative support to the Development team.


Experience/Education of the Development Coordinator:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum of one year of experience in a business or fundraising office environment.

  • Minimum of one year of experience using Salesforce.

  • Strong administrative, organizational, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with close attention to detail.

  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Previous Planned Parenthood experience a plus but not required.

  • Must have a strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and Planned Parenthood’s mission.

  • Yearly compensation range for Development Coordinator: Starting at $42,000 per year, with final compensation commensurate with experience and local market conditions.
