In this position you will be supporting our doctors and technician team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients while having the support and resources to push your career forward. We are looking for a person who enjoys veterinary medicine and is interested in coming onto a team full of longevity and experience. We are located a short distance from Shrewsbury, PA and right off of I83, making the commute to the hospital an easy one. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a strong understanding of veterinary medicine. Responsibilities include providing medical care to animals, performing laboratory tests, assisting in surgery, administering medications, and assisting veterinarians with diagnosing and treating patients. Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and vaccinations to animals.
  • Providing nursing care including phlebotomy, radiology, and injection administration.
  • Assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating animals.
  • Maintain medical records and filing systems.
  • Assist in the preparation of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Assist in surgical patient preparation, monitoring, and recovery
  • Educate clients on proper animal care and nutrition.
  • Veterinary experience: 1 year (Required)
