Job description

Be the Calm, the Advocate, and the Difference
Not every patient needs surgery, oxygen, or a procedure. Some need safety, stability, and someone who truly sees them.
Our Brentwood facility provides 24/7 intake, stabilization, and hospital-based detox alongside step-down care like partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs. Nurses on this unit play a critical role in helping patients through some of their most vulnerable moments-offering assessment, support, medication management, and compassionate care in an environment focused on safety, dignity, and recovery.
What makes this role unique is the impact of the human connection. Behavioral Health nurses work closely with Mental Health Techs, social workers, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and a full interdisciplinary team to care for the whole person-not just the diagnosis. Every interaction is an opportunity to de-escalate fear, build trust, and help someone move toward healing.
With a strong team structure, collaborative support, and a patient ratio that allows nurses to provide focused care, this is a meaningful opportunity for nurses who want to make a difference in a specialty where compassion and clinical judgment go hand in hand.
If you believe nursing is just as much about presence, patience, and advocacy as it is about treatment, Behavioral Health may be exactly where you're meant to be.
