With 8,000 square feet of indoor venue and over 25,000 square feet of landscaped outdoor space, Drayton Mills is a beautiful setting for the perfect event

The Drayton venue hosts everything from elegant weddings to themed dinners including wine tasting experiences, "dinner and a movie", craft fairs, beer festivals, concerts and more. We specialize in corporate events, team-building, conventions, product launches, concerts, and weddings.

Responsibilities

  • Help couples book our wedding venue by responding to inquiries, referrals and through outbound activities
  • Respond in a timely manner to inquiries made by phone, email, social media, and third party websites
  • Work closely and collaborate with the Wedding Events Coordinator who will oversee events day-of, including welcoming guests, directing event setup, communicating with staff, organizing vendors, and overseeing take-down
  • Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. However, on occasion you may be required to work an evening or on the weekend, so you must have the ability to be flexible with your schedule and hours worked
  • Disciplined consistent daily activity focused on continually building pipeline
  • Conduct site tours of our property with potential clients
  • Provide exemplary customer service/relationship management
  • Be the primary point of contact for clients for all phases of the sales process, including preparation of proposals, contract signature, event entry, and coordination.
  • Partner with the internal team to ensure your customers are completely satisfied
  • Use a CRM tool to manage daily tasks, revenue pipeline, and overall client communication

Required Skills & Experience

  • Ability to work both independently and as cohesive part of a closely knit team
  • High level of competitiveness and an eagerness to excel professionally and financially
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive, solutions based, can do attitude
  • Ability to build rapport with customers
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 2+ years of sales experience with proven track record of exemplary sales success
  • On-line savvy, with web, social media and e-commerce expertise.
  • MS Office Suite, Google Docs, CRM software
