Job description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responds to IT service requests and support calls, troubleshooting and resolving basic hardware, software, application, and connectivity issues, or escalating them to the appropriate IT personnel.
  • Provides support for desktops, laptops, peripherals, and other end-user technology, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Handles routine user account administration, including account setup, access changes, and password resets.
  • Installs and supports standard software and applications.
  • Documents service requests, troubleshooting performed, and resolutions within the IT ticketing system.
  • Sets up and deploys technology for new and existing users.
  • Performs routine operational and system support tasks, including reports, backups, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Maintains IT equipment and asset inventory.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally.
  • Follows Company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must have access to reliable transportation. This position is on site only.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related technical experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware, Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, and basic networking concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to learn and support a variety of systems and applications.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery.
  • Must exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Must be able to wear the assigned uniform provided by Delaware Park.
  • Must be able to walk and stand for at least a full eight (8)-hour shift.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs. and push or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, reach, pull, push, kneel, squat, and grasp as needed.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to work throughout the property in environments that may include extended walking distances, confined spaces, noise, music, varying lighting conditions, and varying temperatures
