We are seeking an experienced IT Support and Systems Administrator to strengthen and maintain our IT environment in coordination with our Luxembourg headquarters.

This role is critical to maintaining secure, stable, and efficient IT operations across the organization.

Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $88,000.00

Position Summary

Reporting functionally to the Luxembourg Headquarters IT leadership, the IT Support and Systems Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT environment, including servers, networks, endpoints, and production-connected systems.

This position provides hands-on infrastructure management and 1st and 2nd level technical support while ensuring system security, uptime, and performance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, desktops, laptops, and production machines
  • Provide end-user support and respond to daily service tickets
  • Maintain and monitor IT security, including user data protection, network security, and system integrity
  • Support and maintain standard hardware and software infrastructure components
  • Administer and maintain network infrastructure (HP, Fortinet) including TCP/IP, VPN, IPSec, WiFi, and SSL
  • Maintain Windows-based servers including Active Directory and SharePoint
  • Support client systems including Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (O365)
  • Support IP-based telephony and PBX systems
  • Maintain printers (laser, label, and related systems)
  • Oversee security systems including anti-virus, firewalls, encryption, proxy servers, and backups
  • Provide general 1st and 2nd level IT support
  • Collaborate with global IT teams to ensure system alignment and standardization
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in system administration and system design
  • Strong experience with:
    • Windows servers
    • Domain controllers
    • Mail servers
    • Print servers
    • Desktop support environments
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure and monitoring tools
  • Ability to diagnose and differentiate between hardware, software, and network issues
  • Working knowledge of IT security fundamentals and best practices
  • Basic knowledge of MS SQL is an advantage
  • Experience within an international or complex industrial organization preferred
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Forward-thinking, solution-oriented mindset
  • Combination of office and production-floor support
  • Direct interaction with manufacturing systems and equipment
