Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to provide hands-on and remote technical support for enterprise hardware, operating systems, and core business applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting Windows 10/11, macOS, Dell commercial laptops, Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Tanium, and ServiceNow.

The candidate will be responsible for endpoint provisioning, troubleshooting, lifecycle management, security compliance, and delivering excellent customer support in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build, configure, provision, and deploy Dell Windows laptops using Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Configure and support macOS devices using Jamf.
  • Provide Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop and endpoint support for Windows and macOS users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures, operating system issues, application problems, VPN, Wi-Fi, network connectivity, monitors, docking stations, and peripherals.
  • Manage user incidents and service requests through ServiceNow, including logging, prioritization, escalation, resolution, and SLA tracking.
  • Use Tanium for endpoint management, real-time endpoint queries, compliance monitoring, and software deployment.
  • Administer Active Directory, including domain services, Group Policy, user account provisioning, and access management.
  • Support Microsoft Intune and Autopilot for zero-touch device deployment, configuration, and compliance policies.
  • Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory throughout the complete asset lifecycle.
  • Support employee onboarding, offboarding, device replacements, repairs, and equipment disposal.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues while minimizing user downtime.
  • Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, configurations, and asset information.
  • Provide clear and professional technical assistance to non-technical users.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to escalate complex issues and improve endpoint support processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in desktop support, technical support, endpoint support, or desktop engineering in a corporate environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS.
  • Strong experience supporting Dell commercial laptops and enterprise peripherals.
  • Hands-on experience with Active Directory, including Group Policy and account provisioning.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot.
  • Experience with Tanium for endpoint management and software deployment.
  • Experience with ServiceNow for ITSM incident and request management.
  • Experience with Jamf for macOS device management is preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, operating system, VPN, Wi-Fi, and basic network issues.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
