Role: Warehouse Manager
Reports To: Branch Manager
Job Summary: The Warehouse Manager will establish and implement short and long-range objectives for the assigned departments, oversee related functions and activities, and administer company policies and procedures within the Warehouse/Operations Departments.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • May assist branch management in the hiring and training of new Warehouse staff.
  • Coordinates and oversees the day-to-day workflow of staff within the Warehouse Departments.
  • As requested by the Branch Manager, conduct or assist with performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
  • Assists the Branch Manager with employment actions, including discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy.
  • Monitors departmental performance, identifying and facilitating opportunities to increase productivity and efficiency.
  • Manages daily aspects of the branch and its staff to ensure projects, goals, and customer needs are met.
  • Collaborates with Department Managers and Branch Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate programs and projects.
  • Collaborates with Branch Manager to analyze costs, benefits, and losses of company profit.
  • Drafts, submits, and presents various performance and management reports.
  • Assists in the management of inventory, facilitating purchases as needed, and verifies costs and receipts.
  • Manages conflicts and resolves complaints within the Warehouse Departments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by Branch Manager.

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to create and present ideas, reports, and budgets in various formats.
