The Role

We are looking for an Associate Research Analyst who will support the research process for Trust Barometer projects. The Associate Research Analyst will assist the Research team and collaborate with the broader ETI team across all phases of research projects, from questionnaire development and data collection through analysis and report development. This role requires working with various stakeholders and vendors to ensure project needs and timelines are met. The Associate Research Analyst will also work closely with team members, as well as the rest of the Edelman organization, to ensure consistency and quality standards are adhered to.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Research team operations: update project materials, review questionnaires for grammar and logic, conduct desk research, assist with sample design and quota development, retrieve survey data, conduct simple analyses and provide straightforward summaries, perform quality control reviews to ensure data outputs and written deliverables are accurate and consistent, coordinate team logistics such as scheduling meetings

  • Support vendor management: communicate with research vendors, share project materials (e.g., trackers, reference documents), help coordinate project timelines, test survey programming, review deliverables from vendors for accuracy

  • Support project management: assist with project activities across the research lifecycle (questionnaire development, survey programming and translation, data collection, data analysis, report production), track project timelines and budgets, maintain organized project documentation

  • Collaborate with the broader ETI team: prepare data for internal stakeholders, communicate data findings to colleagues with varying levels of data literacy, perform basic PowerPoint design and chart formatting

  • Leverage emerging technologies: explore and apply AI and other emerging technologies to improve efficiency and enhance day-to-day research and project work

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Marketing Research, Social Sciences, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in market research highly preferred

  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods

  • Ability to work effectively with diverse teams in a cross-functional environment

  • Very strong time management skills, attention to detail, and organizational skills

  • Project management experience is a plus

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively communicate with colleagues of all levels

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python) or data analysis tools (e.g., SPSS or Q) is a plus

  • Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot) and interest in applying them to research workflows is preferred

$48,000 - $54,000 a year

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
