Job Summary 

The Desk Manager will help ensure customer retention and profitability through effectively managing people, processes, and inventory. 

Core Responsibilities

  • Desk deals, including building deals and closing deals.
  • Bid customer vehicle trades
  • Manage the flow of show room traffic, including the Sales Consultant rotation
  • Manage technology, including DealerSocket
  • Manage Guest concerns & conflict resolution
  • Train sales consultants in the Rochester Toyota sales process
  • Assist GSM in the interviewing, hiring, growth & development, including disciplinary actions, and, if necessary, terminations of employees.

Job Requirements

  • 2 years previous auto industry experience
  • Achieve and maintain Toyota certification at the highest levels
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license & ability to be insured through RMC liability insurance required
