RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Saint Louis, MO that is seeking an Instructional Designer.
Summary:
We are seeking a talented and innovative instructional designer to support an upcoming project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing engaging learning experiences and educational materials for a variety of audiences. This role requires creativity, strong communication skills, and expertise in instructional design methodologies.
The Designer will support the build of training and materials. This role must be familiar with all tools/technologies available for the design, development, and build of learning products. The Designer manages interactions with subject matter experts to meet deadlines and facilitate the production of timely, quality learning experiences that align with department goals.
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or demonstrated equivalent work experience
* 3-5 years of demonstrated experience designing online courses, facilitated training sessions
* Experience designing learning offerings in response to an identified business or learning problem/need
* Ability to design learning content while keeping in mind the user experience
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to engage across networks and work effectively in virtual teams
* Demonstrated problem solving skills; ability to proactively manage course design and development situations as well as project schedule
* Ability to learn new tools quickly
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to probe for deep understanding
* Demonstrated sensitivity to working in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent time management, organizational, and professional effectiveness skills
* Keen eye for design and creativity in alignment with brand and organization guidelines
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
