Detailed Job Description:ย 
Join the Butler Dynamic Systems Design Team as a Gearbox Design SME working on military aircraft programs supporting gearbox design.ย 
โ€ขย ย  ย Must have aerospace clean-sheet gearbox design experience and the ability to design/develop new gearbox systems without reference to existing configuration, layout models, or preliminary basic data development.
oย ย  ย Gears, Bearings, Shafts, Housings sizing/design
โ€ขย ย  ย Must have experience in lubrication analysis
โ€ขย ย  ย Must have experience designing castings, forgings, and machined parts
โ€ขย ย  ย Must be proficient with Catia V5 3D modeling utilizing generative shape design, part design, and assembly design workbenches
โ€ขย ย  ย Must be proficient in Catia V5 2D drafting
โ€ขย ย  ย Must have experience in Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) per ASME Y14.5
โ€ขย ย  ย Must be proficient with Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint)
โ€ขย ย  ย Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills
โ€ขย ย  ย Prefer experience with Catia V5 Model Based Design (MBD) using the Functional Tolerancing and Annotation workbench (FT&A)
