WOODPATEL has immediate openings for full time CAD Manager in our Phoenix office. As a CAD Manager at WOODPATEL, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our CAD processes. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and possess extensive experience in CAD software and management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the CAD team, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to team membersย 
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of CAD standards and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate and timely delivery of CAD designsย 
  • Evaluate and recommend new CAD software, tools, and technologies to enhance productivity and innovation within the teamย 
  • Conduct regular training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and keep them updated on industry best practicesย 
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all CAD designsย 
  • Act as a liaison between the Engineering team and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred)
  • Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in a CAD management role, demonstrating leadership and project management skills
  • Proficient in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or other industry-standard tools
  • Strong understanding of engineering and design principles
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with the company's goals
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations
