The Turnip Truck Natural Market (East Nashville) - Nashville, TN

Description

Purpose: An Administrative Clerk is a customer oriented highly motivated individual, who can provide high volume of administrative support to enable the smooth running of the office and accounts payable operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls
  • General clerical duties including photocopying, faxing, & mailing
  • Maintain electronic and hard copy filing system
  • Resolve administrative issues and inquiries
  • Coordinate with receiving to ensure accurate & timely accounts payable records
  • Reconcile vendor accounts
  • Input sales & deposit information into accounting system
  • Assist in filling out new hire paperwork
  • Assist in signup & administration of employee benefits

Essential Functions:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of basic book keeping functions & principles
  • Knowledge in operation of standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of clerical/administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management
  • Degree in a related field of study
