Description

Job Summary:  The Deposit Operations Clerk performs a variety of balancing and maintenance functions related to the bank's Deposit Operations department, such as, processing new accounts, balancing demand deposit accounts, savings accounts, unpostable transactions and certificate of deposit accounts. This position will assist with proof operations and various other departments.


Primary Duties

1. Process Wire transfers both domestic and international 

2. Ensure new accounts are opened accurately and on the same day received.

3. Balance demand deposit accounts.

4. Set up ACH transfers 

5. Complete account maintenance 

6. Other duties as assigned within this department or other departments.

7. Must be able to work overtime when necessary 


Skills Required 

High school diploma or equivalent

1 year Banking Experience

Basic PC skills with word and excel

Ten- Key by touch 

Customer Service skills 

Basic Accounting skillsÂ
