Job Summary
We're looking for a Senior Demand Manager to lead demand planning and generation efforts across the business. This role is responsible for building accurate forecasts, aligning cross-functional teams, and leveraging tools and data to drive smarter decisions.
You'll play a critical role in connecting Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance-ensuring that demand signals translate into actionable plans. This role also includes leading and developing a team while introducing new capabilities, processes, and technologies to improve demand planning maturity and continuously enhance forecast accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting
  • Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across all channels (eCommerce, retail, wholesale)
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term forecasts using historical data, trends, and market insights
  • Establish and drive a continuous improvement program for forecast accuracy, including root cause analysis, bias tracking, and corrective actions
  • Define, monitor, and improve key forecast KPIs (e.g., accuracy, bias, forecast value add)

Demand Generation Alignment
  • Partner with Marketing and Sales to incorporate promotions, product launches, and campaigns into demand plans
  • Translate demand generation activities into measurable forecast inputs
  • Ensure alignment between demand plans and revenue targets

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) or IBP process
  • Act as the central point of coordination between key stakeholders (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Product)
  • Communicate risks, opportunities, and trade-offs clearly to leadership

Tools, Systems & Capability Building
  • Own and optimize demand planning tools (ERP, forecasting software, BI platforms)
  • Identify gaps and introduce new tools, automation, and advanced analytics capabilities
  • Drive adoption of best practices in demand planning and data management

Team Leadership
  • Manage and develop a team of demand planners/analysts
  • Set clear goals, provide coaching, and build a high-performance culture
  • Establish scalable processes and documentation

Performance Monitoring
  • Track and report key KPIs such as forecast accuracy, service levels, and inventory health
  • Deliver regular insights and action plans to improve forecast performance over time
  • Support scenario planning and decision-making under uncertainty

Qualifications
  • 8-12+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analytics
  • Experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce (cookware or durable goods a plus)
  • Proven track record of leading S&OP/IBP processes
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in forecasting methodologies
  • Hands-on experience with demand planning tools, ideally NSPB or NetSuite
  • Experience leading and developing teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

Working Conditions
  • Environment: Remote. If in the office, work is performed primarily indoors under artificial lighting. You will have close contact with all company employees and customers.
  • Equipment: The role requires consistent use of standard office equipment, including a computer, laptop, telephone, and printer. You will also be around other work equipment and machinery.
  • Physical Demands: This position requires sitting, repetitive use of hands, walking, standing, and reaching overhead. You must also be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Hours & Travel: The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, though some overtime and weekend work may be required. The position is remote w/ some travel to our Vallejo, CA campus.
