Job description

Particle by Digi is the leading application infrastructure for intelligent devices, helping thousands of companies bring intelligence to the edge. Particle provides everything you need to deploy software and models to an Edge AI, edge computing, or IoT product in one tightly-integrated platform. As part of Digi International, Particle continues its mission to make IoT accessible and scalable for businesses of all sizes.
This position is Remote but preferred locations are Hopkins, MN - Sandy/Lehi, UT or Mishawaka, IN.
Position
Particle by Digi is looking to add a Demand Generation Manager to the team. The Demand Generation Manager owns demand generation at Particle by Digi. You will build and run the programs, infrastructure, and measurement systems that produce qualified pipeline for the sales team across our two core ICP segments: Fleet and Asset Optimization and Connected Product. The function does not exist in its current form, which means you will build it, own it, and be accountable for what it produces.
This role owns demand generation at Particle by Digi. You will build and run the programs, infrastructure, and measurement systems that produce qualified pipeline for the sales team across our two core ICP segments: Fleet and Asset Optimization and Connected Product. The function does not exist in its current form, which means you will build it, own it, and be accountable for what it produces.
What You Will Do
  • Own the full demand generation function including campaign strategy, channel execution, HubSpot marketing automation, and pipeline reporting across the Particle by Digi GTM motion.
  • Build HubSpot as the marketing platform of record, establishing lead scoring models, lifecycle stage definitions, campaign attribution, and MQL-to-SQL reporting that connects marketing activity directly to revenue outcomes.
  • Design and execute integrated campaign programs targeting Fleet and Asset Optimization and Connected Product buyer personas, coordinating messaging, content, channels, and timing from first touch through MQL handoff to sales.
  • Partner with the Growth Engineer to leverage existing Particle platform usage signals as demand generation inputs, activating behavioral triggers and product-qualified account data within HubSpot campaign workflows.
  • Develop and distribute content that drives organic traffic, builds credibility with developer and engineering audiences, and gives the sales team conversion-oriented assets they will actually use.
  • Manage paid acquisition programs across search and social, owning budget allocation, creative testing, and performance optimization with CAC and pipeline contribution as the primary success metrics.
  • Deliver monthly demand gen performance reporting to GTM and executive leadership with channel-level attribution, MQL volume, conversion rates, and clear optimization recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Customer Success on ICP targeting, campaign timing, and lead quality feedback so the demand gen program continuously improves against pipeline quality, not just MQL volume.

Who You Are and What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 4 or more years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing, preferably at a technology company selling to technical or engineering buyers.
  • Hands-on HubSpot expertise covering campaign management, workflow automation, lead scoring, and attribution reporting.
  • Proven ability to plan and execute multi-channel campaign programs with pipeline contribution as the accountability metric, not campaign activity.
  • Comfort with AI-assisted marketing workflows including prompt-driven content generation, Clay-based enrichment and targeting, and signal-based lead scoring.
  • Strong analytical orientation with the ability to build and maintain campaign performance dashboards, interpret funnel conversion data, and make channel investment decisions based on CAC and pipeline ROI.
  • Excellent written communication skills and the editorial judgment to produce content that resonates with a technical audience without sounding like it came from a committee.

Desired But Not Required
  • Experience building or migrating to HubSpot from another MAP is a strong plus.
  • Experience marketing a hardware plus software or developer-oriented product is a meaningful advantage given the nature of the Particle platform and its buyer.
