Work You'll Do

Serve as the Office of the Force Surgeon (OFS) medical logistics (MEDLOG) subject matter expert supporting MARFORPAC deliberate and contingency planning, focusing on Class VIII posture/sustainment, readiness, allied/partner interoperability, and operational logistics in support of the MARFORPAC Campaign Plan/Order and INDOPACOM-aligned efforts. The role provides continuity across planning cycles by assessing operational requirements, translating MEDLOG doctrine/system realities for planners/action officers, and producing high-quality staff products and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

MEDLOG operations support

Identify and assess operational-level MEDLOG requirements from subordinate/tactical inputs; compare against current/projected capabilities; provide recommendations to OFS leadership and functional staff.

Monitor unclassified and classified communications to identify emerging MEDLOG requirements/issues/updates.

Develop and manage Health Service Support (HSS) MEDLOG POA&Ms (Plans of Action & Milestones).

Review/QA staff products (briefs, action plans, supporting documentation) and provide actionable feedback.

Participate in working groups (WG), operational planning teams (OPT), synchronization meetings, and cross-functional touchpoints across MARFORPAC/INDOPACOM/adjacent components.

Maintain operational task visibility by updating OFS Microsoft Teams task trackers/tasking tools.

Provide weekly activity updates (e.g., quad slides, brief summaries) and elevate issues requiring Force Surgeon/OFS support.

Provide MEDLOG inputs to annual assessments and campaign/Annex Q-related cycles; support required trip reports when directed.

MEDLOG planning support (Task Two)

Participate in and inform planning events (WG/OPT/OPLAN/CONOP and emergent planning) by providing coordinated MEDLOG assessments, opinions, and expertise.

Monitor doctrinal/policy updates (unclassified/classified as applicable) and advise on required adjustments to OFS/MARFORPAC policy, doctrine, or plans.

Provide MEDLOG-specific inputs for exercise plans and Annex Q products; coordinate planning alignment with sustainment realities and subordinate/adjacent MEDLOG elements.

Reporting, deliverables, and quality

Produce timely, analytically supported recommendations (e.g., gap/shortfall identification and mitigations; Class VIII status/readiness; program health; allied/partner capability assessments) and brief products when requested.

Deliver recurring reports (e.g., monthly status and quarterly reports) aligned to government formats/timelines and incorporate leadership feedback.

Follow OFS/MARFORPAC internal reviews to eliminate errors/omissions and ensure technical accuracy, revise products quickly when non-compliant.

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as logistics management, supply chain management, etc.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Active TS/SCI security clearance required

6+ years experience supporting military logistics and sustainment operations

Experience with MEDLOG systems/reporting, including MAXIMO Logistics Command $ Control

Ability to work independently with minimal oversight on mission-critical/high-visibility work

Military schooling such as SNCO Academy, Career Level School, Expeditionary Warfare School (EWS), and/or Supply School

Preferred:

Experience with Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS MC) functions.

Supply chain / logistics certifications (one or more): ASCM/APICS CSCP or CPIM, ISM CPSM, SOLE CPL (or equivalent).

Healthcare/medical logistics credential (one or more): AHRMM CMRP (or equivalent medical materiel/readiness credential).

Prior relevant MOS experience such as USMC MOS 0491, USN LS NEC, Army MOS 68J, or USAF AFSC 4A131.

Professional certifications i.e. PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent.

Additional PME/JPME (Joint Professional Military Education) that strengthens joint/coalition planning effectiveness (helpful given the joint/interoperability focus) .

Possess applicable Navy AQD(s) OR completion of USMC Ground Supply Officer School.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113,300 to $188,900.
