Advisory AI Strategist

Dell Technologies helps customers modernize infrastructure and unlock value from AI. Within our Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) Unit, the Advisory AI Strategist is a trusted advisor who helps customers move from pilots to production AI, while building sustainable AI operating models and business outcomes.

You will work closely with customer stakeholders and Dell teams to frame AI problems, remove organizational blockers, and design practical ways of working so AI solutions can scale on Dell infrastructure and across the Dell AI Factory portfolio.

Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as an Advisory AI Strategist on our Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) Unit in Remote - New England.

What You'll Achieve
  • Shape AI engagement plans in key accounts, partnering with account teams and senior customer stakeholders.
  • Clarify customer AI goals and challenges and translate them into actionable roadmaps.
  • Help design or improve AI operating models and governance so proofs of value can become production solutions.
  • Align stakeholders across business, IT, data, and risk functions around AI priorities and decisions.
  • Represent Dell's AI Factory strategy in executive discussions, together with Enterprise Architects and Sales leaders.
You Will:
  • Lead or co-lead AI discovery, problem framing, and diagnosis with customer teams to uncover blockers to AI adoption and value realization.
  • Co-design AI operating models and governance (roles, decision rights, pilot-to-production processes) that support secure, compliant scaling of AI use cases.
  • Drive stakeholder alignment by mapping decision makers, facilitating workshops, and maintaining clear engagement cadences.
  • Partner with AI Architects and AI Data Specialists to define scope, success criteria, and readiness for AI proofs of value and production rollouts.
  • Define adoption and enablement approaches (change management, training, AI champions, communities of practice) that build long-term customer capability.
  • Coordinate FDE Unit engagement rhythms (checkpoints, steering sessions, risk reviews) with customer programs and Dell account leadership.
  • Provide feedback to Dell AI Factory offers and playbooks based on field experience and common customer patterns.
  • Mentor less experienced team members on AI governance, organizational change, and engagement best practices.

Take the first step towards your dream career
Every Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here's what we are looking for with this role:

  • Strong skills in problem framing, discovery, and root-cause analysis of organizational and process issues.
  • Experience designing or refining operating models and governance frameworks that connect technology initiatives to business outcomes and risk posture.
  • Proven stakeholder management and facilitation skills with business and IT leaders, including executives.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, able to translate AI capabilities and results into clear business narratives.
  • Solid business acumen and ability to connect AI and GenAI use cases to measurable value.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites and Dell locations as needed, in line with business requirements and applicable laws and Dell policies.
Desirable Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data/Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience leading AI, analytics, or digital transformation programs.
