Aldridge Pite Haan, LLP is seeking an Associate Attorney licensed in California to handle consumer collection matters in a high-volume, fast-paced practice. This is a fully remote position.
The Associate Attorney will review and approve pleadings and motions, handle court appearances, and manage cases from inception through resolution. The role requires efficient caseload management, collaboration with support staff and other attorneys, and adherence to applicable laws and firm standards.
APH offers a fully remote practice with no billable hour requirement and a collaborative environment where attorneys work closely with support staff and firm leadership. The firm covers bar dues, CLE, and additional state bar admissions.
Required:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Active admission to practice law in the State of California
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in collection litigation (consumer and/or commercial)
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently
- Working knowledge of consumer protection statutes, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and the Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
Preferred:
- Admission to practice in additional states
- Spanish language proficiency
