Job Title: Head Cashier / Office Manager – Automotive Dealership (Full-Time)

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Head Cashier / Office Manager to oversee daily office operations at our busy automotive dealership. This is a full-time, on-site leadership role responsible for maintaining accuracy, organization, and accountability within the office.

This position is ideal for someone who takes ownership of their work, leads by example, and can keep operations running smoothly without constant oversight.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee daily office operations and supervise cashier staff

- Ensure proper cash handling, reconciliation, and daily balancing

- Prepare and complete accurate, timely bank deposits

- Stock in new and used vehicle inventory

- Process and review deal paperwork for accuracy and completeness

- Utilize Dealertrack for deal processing, inventory, and documentation

- Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with dealership procedures

- Coordinate coverage for cashier schedules and step in when needed

Leadership Responsibilities:

- Supervise and support cashier team

- Ensure coverage for all scheduled shifts, including handling call-offs

- Step in to cover shifts when necessary, including occasional Saturdays

- Maintain a professional, accountable, and team-focused work environment

Qualifications:

- Automotive dealership experience preferred

- Dealertrack experience strongly preferred

- Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Basic accounting knowledge and comfort handling financial transactions

- Reliable, professional, and self-motivated

- Proven reliability and consistent work history required

What We’re Looking For:

This role requires a high level of accuracy, accountability, and follow-through. The right candidate will:

- Show up consistently and on time

- Take ownership of responsibilities without constant follow-up

- Communicate effectively with team members and management

- Maintain accuracy in all financial and administrative tasks

Schedule:

- Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

- Must be available to cover shifts as needed, including occasional Saturdays

Compensation:

- $17–$20 per hour, based on experience (negotiable)
